I’mperfect wins the Danish Design Award
We’re excited that I’mperfect (I am perfect), the brainchild of two members of our Copenhagen team in collaboration with other global designers, has received the Danish Design Award for the category of ‘Message Received,’ and was nominated for the category of ‘Visionary Concepts.’ The I’mperfect range celebrates the uniqueness of imperfection by using design to highlight the flaws in products usually thrown out for reasons of quality control.
Founded in 1965 and re-launched this year by a team including Jesper von Wieding and Tim Larcombe of Pearlfisher’s Copenhagen studio, the Danish Design Award celebrates the difference design can make in 21st Century society. The ceremony, which was held in Copenhagen on April 7th, was a fantastic event attended by the crown prince of Denmark.
