On the heels of successfully guest lecturing, Brandi Parker, Head of Realization in New York, has been appointed by The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York as Adjunct Professor.

Brandi will join FIT in in the Fall of 2017 teaching a course entitled “Digital Prepress for Packaging Design”. The course is for Seniors and will introduce students to digital mechanical art creation specifically for packaging design. Students will learn file management, printing methods, color processes, packaging substrates, and how a package design moves from design approval to mechanical art creation. Most importantly, students will walk away with an understanding and appreciation for the Realization process.

Mike Branson, Pearlfisher Founding Partner & CEO, Americas, comments, “As we grow our Realisation offer and team, we are thrilled that Brandi will be joining the world class FIT faculty as an adjunct instructor. She is a natural teacher, dynamic leader and real pioneer in her field and so her classes promise to be truly inspiring.”

Marianne Klimchuk, Professor & Associate Chair of the Packaging Design Department at FIT, adds, “The Packaging Design Department at FIT offers the only BFA of its kind in the United States. Our curriculum is focused on educating the next generation of design leaders. We are thrilled to have Brandi as a member of our faculty. Her passion for Realization is highly contagious. There is no doubt in my mind that Brandi will educate and inspire her students and in turn impact their career paths.”
