We’re thrilled to announce that Constance Deseine, UK Country Manager for JIMINI’S, a brand of energy bars made with cricket flour, is confirmed to speak at Pearlfisher Futures’ London event, Taste Mode 2016: How to Create the Food and Drink Brands of the Future. Constance joins an influential speaker lineup including founder of the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit, Seedlip; the brilliant marketing mind behind Veggie Pret and Cawston Press, and co-founder and Marketing Director of London’s first zero-waste restaurant, Tiny Leaf.
JIMINI’S produces two types of products – whole ready-to-eat insects and energy bars – made with cricket flour. The insects are raised in specialised farms in the Netherlands, and the bars – made from either grasshoppers, mealworms or crickets – are low in calories and high in protein, nutrients and fibre.
