Jacob’s, which we designed a new, contemporary visual identity for, won first place in the Savory Snacks category. We approached this work with the intention to celebrate the traditional qualities of the brand to create a new iconic expression and we’re happy to see this recognized by the Dieline jury.
Challenger brand, Sea Man Seaweed Chips, won second place in the Savory Snacks category. Designed to capture the personalities and entrepreneurial spirit of the founders, Sea Man’s packaging evokes a bold playfulness and features a new logo on the back of the package, which reads, “No Plastic in the Oceans”, to drive more focus on the recyclability of plastic and ensure it doesn’t end up in our oceans.
The Dieline Awards have recognized the absolute best in consumer product packaging design worldwide for nine years. This year alone, Dieline Awards received nearly 1500 entries from over 20 countries around the world, and only 94 received an award. Read more about the Dieline Awards here.
