We’re thrilled to announce that our work for wagamama – a reinvention of the high street chain’s take-out packaging – has received widespread international recognition, winning 6 international awards: a FAB Award, 1st Place for ‘Food’ at The Dieline, a wood pencil at D&AD, a ‘Notable’ commendation at Core77, a Clio award and most recently, a bronze Pentaward.
Famed for pioneering the casual dining experience and bringing fresh, fast-paced Japanese cuisine to western high streets, wagamama turned to us to apply similarly disruptive design thinking to their takeaway offering. By adopting the challenger mentality that made the chain so iconic, we created a revolutionary brand experience that positions wagamama as the icon of high street takeaway and better connects the customer at home to the excitement, taste and aesthetic value of the restaurant experience.
