Our design of wagamama’s takeout packaging has won silver at the highly respected, Clio Awards.

Famed for challenging what we ate, how we sat side-by-side and promoting a new casual dining code, iconic restaurant chain wagamama felt the need to reignite its challenger approach when it came to its takeaway offering. Their brief to us was simple – “re-imagine our takeaway experience” – and that’s exactly what we did. Harnessing our 3D and structural design capability, we created an intense and intimate experience that brings the taste, quality and brand appeal of wagamama’s restaurants – as well as the care and consideration that goes into every bowl of food – to life for the customer at home. The new takeaway experience – from the food preparation and delivery system, to structural packaging design – now directly connects to the brand idea of ‘sharing positively from bowl to soul.

The Clio Awards is an annual award program that recognises innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design and communication, as judged by an international panel of advertising professionals. Time magazine describes the event as the world’s most recognisable international advertising awards.
