Justin Goode
Head of Visualization
I started my career in the video game industry, accidentally stumbling into the design industry with a side gig of creating CGI bottles for numerous liquor brands at a time when the design industry was only just starting to apply CGI techniques. I eventually made it into the Design and Branding industry, and finally to Pearlfisher, where I could make a bigger impact and push the visibility and use of CGI.
I’m obsessed with getting details exactly right, and love figuring out how things work while finding more efficient techniques and workflows. This curiosity along with my eye for lighting and film effects has helped me push the realism quality of work, developing a specialty for ultra-real rendered shots. Whether its building custom rigs to improve my 3D scanning quality or studying the physics of condensation on a bottle, I love to research, learn, and master my skills.
Outside of Pearlfisher I spend all my time with my rescued Basset Hound, Walter Puddings, who never leaves my side (he usually joins me in the studio.) Before Walter I spent a lot of time hiking and doing landscape photography, including the Grand Canyon, Mt. Kilimanjaro, and Everest Base Camp among various other cool hiking trips.
