Since my start in branding and design, I’ve leaned into collaboration, evaluation and a preference for Word over Illustrator. When I discovered that these were the early makings of a strategist, I never looked back.
Now, eight years later, the ruthless pursuit of simplifying business challenges to create effective and actionable brand strategy continues to be a welcome challenge for me. Past projects of mine include globally iconic brands ranging from Reebok and Elizabeth Arden to Google X and Chipotle. However, my experience with brand strategy and consumer insights in the Bay Area has led me to advise and guide more start-ups and early stage companies in technology, consumer hardware and lifestyle sectors, helping to build brands from the ground, up.
I studied History and Studio Art at the University of Virginia, which gave me a greater appreciation for the unique work that comes from design, a treasure trove of historical trivia and one of my favorite pastimes – painting.
