With a new slow churned butter that needed to sit comfortably within its portfolio, Lurpak tasked Pearlfisher to develop a brand that could balance its heritage alongside this new product’s artisan and premium positioning.

Stemming from the design idea ‘deliciously authentic’, we created a distinctive identity, structure, parchment and outer wrap that celebrated the butter in a novel way, galvanising its position as ‘an everyday premium’ food experience.

Our design elevated the specialness of the brand as the most foodie of the Lurpak family, while its innovative, beautifully designed and fully recyclable brushed aluminium butter dish takes butter out of the fridge and puts it at the centre of the table.
