In creating a fun and joyful brand identity, we wanted to celebrate the simple pleasure of the hot dog and just simply indulging in and enjoying good food. Our brand idea ‘Hell Yeah’ is a rallying cry of possibility and positivity - which is what we wanted the brand to stand for - all those 'Hell Yeah' moments where you sit back, relax and let the good times roll. The name and identity become integrated with the L of Rollover turned into a roll, featuring a hidden hotdog that appears to have been piped on with ketchup and supported by the strapline, ‘The Hotdog’.
The bold and vibrant design expression - using primarily ketchup red and mustard yellow - leaves no doubt as to the taste and premise of the offer, playing to both a sense of memory and nostalgia but also inspired by the bold and contemporary aesthetic of today’s street-food vibe, to truly celebrate the hotdog and its many occasions as an uncomplicated, premium and delicious choice.
