Every aspect of the new brand identity and dynamic design for the Takamaka Seychelles range builds on the foundation of our creative idea, 'The Undiscovered’ – signifying the unique, and undiscovered flavors of the island. Inspired by the Seychelles national flag, the brand identity is rooted in the country's provenance and mirrors Takamaka's brand values of optimism, resourcefulness and bringing people together.
The five facets of the Seychelles flag become specific segments used across the brand’s communication touchpoints and packaging design. Each segment symbolizes the vibrant, dynamic and creole character of the islands and acts as a talking point between customers and bartenders. The different segments portray tropical colors and bespoke illustrations by artists from the islands and personal stories shared by the grandfather of Takamaka’s founders’ about his life in the Seychelles.
Takamaka's St André Series is a collection of four darker rums, crafted to showcase the brand's rich heritage and Creole traditions while at the same time pushing the boundaries of conventional rum making.
Reflecting its rum innovation, our design for the St André Series takes cues from the core range to retain consistency and familiarity. We added elements of gold foiling, richer colors, and an icon on the top left corner depicting Takamaka's distillery, all to represent the brand's stories rooted in heritage and the premium nature of this collection.
