Situated on its own stunning beach in North Cornwall, the Watergate Bay Hotel prides itself on being an exclusive destination and ocean experience, with a relaxed and friendly approach, but needing a cohesive brand identity – including name, signage, stationery and all communication materials - to convey its offer and how the hierarchy should work and be communicated throughout the hotel and its different environments of sleeping, living and dining.
The logotype has been drawn by hand to give it a distinctly personal touch and to reflect the core brand values of the hotel and its location on the North Cornish coast- raw, energetic, elemental, imperfect and unique. The iconography brings out the warm character of the brand and its personable yet sophisticated personality with simple and realistic illustrations depicting silhouettes of real life objects. No two people see the same thing or experience the same thing in such an ever-changing elemental destination.
