Creating a first year sales increase of 40%, increasing accommodation sales by 35% and spa treatment sales by 22%, we transformed Watergate Bay Hotel into the luxury beach brand it had always dreamed of being.

Priding itself on its unique location and wholly reinvigorating ocean experience, Watergate Bay Hotel needed a more cohesive brand identity, connecting people directly to the destination and its elements.

Working beyond the initial project scope Pearlfisher's Strategy team reconstructed the entire brand architecture, informing naming of the hotel’s environments, signage, stationery and communication materials, as well as creation of new spa range Another Place.

The identity was hand drawn by Pearlfisher Design and is highly reflective of both the brand DNA and the North Cornish coastline. Iconography and illustrations were created in a simple and realistic style to maintain the raw, elemental nature of the new visual identity system.
