Working in close partnership with Mark Anthony Brands, we transformed the tired Canadian whisky category by introducing an innovative new challenger for people looking for adventurous new taste experiences that redefine the norm. Following swiftly on from the success of BEARFACE Canadian Triple Oak, we worked with Mark Anthony Brands again on an exciting new variant and design for their latest BEARFACE innovation – One Eleven Series.
Unlike other whisky categories, Canadian whisky is not bound by the same stringent regulations and therefore has the opportunity to be much more progressive.
With a mentality to ‘HIDE NOTHING, FEAR NOTHING’ the BEARFACE brand identity evokes the adventurous, raw and honest spirit of modern Canada – and its people – found in every drop of BEARFACE whisky.
Inspired by the power and bravery of the bear, we designed a clawmark featured on the unique bottle design to form the core brand mark. Meanwhile, bold typography, authentic illustrations and patterns are based on marks made from hand-chiselling wood and have been transferred digitally to preserve a crafted aesthetic with a more modernised look and feel.
