Jonathan Ford, Pearlfisher Founding Creative Partner & CEO, is one of 3 keynote speakers selected for the 4th annual FAB Forum, being held at Google’s HQ in London on Tuesday 21st May.
The FAB Forum, the sister event to the highly-regarded and long-standing The FAB Awards (International Food & Beverage Creative Effectiveness Awards), is an invite-only event that brings together brands, creative, media and tech to shine a light on thought leadership and innovation from the Food & Beverage Industry. Jonathan’s speech will explore the critical and contentious topic of packaging waste.
Jonathan’s speech synopsis:
Life’s a beach: Let’s not waste it
How to design out the packaging waste problem
No-one needs reminding that waste, and how we manage it, is one of the greatest challenges of our lifetime. We’re on the cusp of exciting change; the public is finally excited about waste but we need to focus them on the solutions that make sense. And whilst we’re starting to see some brands and business step up to provide solutions, others are still crippled by confusion and the vastness of the challenge.
Jonathan will highlight the crucial role design has to play in reducing a brand’s environmental impact – essentially creating more from less while still delivering a desirable, original and pertinent design solution. Jonathan will talk through key, tangible and actionable principles about how designers and brands can to work together to start lightweighting the brand journey and establish a successful brand future and legacy.
