The Drum Design Awards have shortlisted our work for Rubies in the Rubble and Cockburn’s. Now in its 8th year, the annual The Drum Design Awards is an eagerly anticipated event on the calendar, as it celebrates, recognises and rewards the best design work across the globe.

We’re thrilled the photoshoot we planned and directed for Rubies in the Rubble has been shortlisted in the Art Direction category. The concept for the photoshoot was inspired by the purpose-driven nature of this challenger brand and its passion for fighting food waste. Whilst most food photography is polished and perfect, we celebrated the imperfect, sourcing the surplus fruit and vegetables used within the range of Rubies in the Rubble condiments.

Our redesign of the iconic port brand, Cockburn’s has been shortlisted in the category, Writing for Design. Particularly in the ad campaigns of the 70’s and 80’s – and namely, their most famous ‘Pronounce Responsibly’ advertising campaign – Cockburn’s was a brand known for its light-hearted and witty attitude. To reignite this spirit, we brought the brand’s new ‘Bold in a world of old’ positioning to life through a refreshed tone of voice to appeal to a more modern audience.
